About this cabin
Le Hjort is a true log cabin set on the bank of the Rouge River. Four bedrooms, seven beds and two full bathrooms — one with a tub, a shower and heated floors — for nine guests.
The property has private access to the river and its sand beach. The hot tub is waiting when you get back, and the games room holds a pool table, a foosball table and an arcade cabinet. The gas fireplace takes care of the evenings.
The P’tit Train du Nord trail is a ten-minute walk away: 234 km for cycling in summer, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in winter. Mont-Tremblant is about thirty minutes off.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au chalet de Rivière Rouge! Le chalet est magnifique et parfait pour une famille! C'était très propre lorsqu'on est arrivé et le chalet est vraiment bien équipé. Serviettes en bonne quantité, lits confortables et plusieurs divertissements sur place (table de billard, babyfoot, arcades, casse-têtes et jeux de société). La plage n'était malheureusement pas accessible dû au haut niveau de l'eau, mais sinon l'espace extérieur est vraiment spacieux, nous avons profiter du vaste terrain pour jouer au soccer, volleyball et frisbee. L'espace pour faire le feu est parfait et il y avait du bois en bonne quantité! Les communications étaient faciles et nous avons eu réponses à nos questions très rapidement. Je recommande ce chalet!
Super séjour!
Nous avons adoré notre séjour petits et grands! On se sent bien dès le premier pas. Impeccablement propre, beau, spa très propre, que dire des salles de bain..A1! Les enfants ont adoré le sous sol et l'aire de jeu. Le bar à café est un plus!

We want to return
We were 2 families. 4 adults 4 kids. We had a great time! Cottage was perfect, very modern, nice kitchen and bathrooms, room dispositions were perfect, kids slept downstairs adults upstairs. Cottage is 6 mins away from riviere rouge departure. We even did some paddleboard from the cottage. Hist is super responsive. 5 star guaranteed!!
Relaxing getaway
Cottage was as advertised, kid friendly, and kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances and utensils you would need to cook a full meal. The hot tub cover was left open when we arrived and so had lots of fallen debris in it, but communication with owners was swift and efficient and they quickly sent someone to clean it. The backyard area is spacious and leads directly to the river. Basement is full of games and activities to keep everyone occupied after the sun sets. Would recommend to all!

Nous avons passé un super séjour à ce chalet tout équipé !!! Beaucoup de places, les ados ont adoré le sous sol !! Les hôtes sont à l’écoute !!!! 5/5 !!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce chalet qui offre de nombreuses activités, vous êtes sûrs de ne pas vous ennuyer! Lynn est également très à l’écoute et donne des informations précieuses sur la région et les environs!

Un super week-end au chalet entre amies! Je recommande le chalet, tout est disponible, nous n’avons jamais vu autant de vaisselle, plat pour cuisson etc. Nous sommes extrêmement satisfaits.
A Perfect Cottage Getaway
I had an incredible time during my stay at the charming cottage. The pool table, baby football, and darts provided endless fun and laughter. The warm place and beautiful surroundings made it a perfect getaway. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a delightful and entertaining retreat.
Magnifique séjour!
Nous avons apprécié grandement notre magnifique séjour de trois jours au chalet Hjort à Rivière Rouge. Le chalet est chaleureux, confortable, super propre et très accueillant. Magnifique emplacement pour passer du temps de qualité avec des amis. Il est situé aux abords de la superbe Rivière Rouge, environnement calme et apaisant. Nous avons apprécié la table de billard, les jeux de soccer sur table et Pacman, les marches en nature et surtout le magnifique spa. Nous y retournerons assurément.
