Our two Charlevoix cabins sit in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, about ten minutes from Le Massif — the biggest vertical drop east of the Rockies. Baie-Saint-Paul and its art galleries are the same distance the other way.
Both have a private outdoor hot tub and a games room. Le Chic Chac sleeps ten in a contemporary building; Le Boisia sleeps eleven, with five bedrooms and two stacked balconies. Québec City is about an hour away on Route 138.

Winter and summer
In winter it is Le Massif: 770 metres of vertical, the biggest east of the Rockies, with the St. Lawrence as a backdrop. Both cabins sit about ten minutes from the lifts, and their outdoor hot tubs earn their keep on the way back. In summer the same ground is walked: the Gabrielle-Roy and Louise Gasnier trails start from Le Chic Chac's neighbourhood, with 45 km of paths.
Getting there
From Québec City, allow just under an hour on Route 138 — about 80 km. From Montréal, closer to three and a half hours. The road follows the river toward the end, and the descent into Petite-Rivière-Saint-François is a piece of scenery in itself. Three vehicles fit in Le Chic Chac's driveway.
With children
Both cabins have a games room: pool and ping-pong at Le Chic Chac, a pool table on the mezzanine at Le Boisia. Each provides a high chair and has a private play area. Baie-Saint-Paul, ten minutes away, fills a rainy day between its shops and cafés.

Myself and 3 friends stayed here early February and skied at Le Massif. This is a lovely property. Very quaint but has all the amenities you need. Good supplies for cookware, dinnerware and utensils. Some of these do need a refresh.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le Boisia! Le chalet était d’une très grande propreté, tout y était, il ne manquait de rien! Nous avons pu profiter de la table de pool, des jeux de société! Nous avons pu se faire de très bonne bouffe grâce à tout l’équipement inclus dans le chalet! Les propriétaires sont adorables, très serviables et offre un service magnifique! Si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit, vous leur écrivez par courriel ou vous leur téléphonez, ils nous répondent avec un rapidité hors du commun! Bravo aux propriétaires, je leur donne un 5 étoiles ainsi qu’à leur chalet! Sans hésitation, je réserverai à nouveau ce chalet Le Boisia
